  personality:     With a manner about him that seems gallant, almost to the point of grandstanding, it would be easy to discredit the commander as prideful, arrogant, even a braggart. Though not intentional, years of service and militaristic poise are not so easily discarded from one's gait.However, the commander is nothing if not   gracious and amiable   with all he comes across, as welcoming to strangers as he is to long-time friends.In spite of his experience, he can be rash and a bit too hasty to act - quite the problem for one who works within logistics. To charge first and questions second is antithetical for his title, which begs the question of why he's been selected for such a role. Perhaps it was not his   choice.  

Born to a Duskwight conjurer and a Hyuran carpenter, it was from a young age when Piers made the decision to swear himself in service to the Adders, keen on protecting his homeland and, with boyish notions filling his head, becoming a hero.Twenty years of service has seen Piers dispatched across Eorzea, both as leve-dealer and as part of the Adders' forces. From White Wolf to Wood Wailer, his diligence had led him to command a small group of forces, a title he kept until an injury forced him to fall back to the wayside; rather than being demoted, he was merely transferred.Now, he continues to travel under the banner of the Adders, though he considers himself more of a recruiter and a consultant than anything of a soldier.
